We believe startups in the South have been hindered by their lack of access to early stage capital. The Athens Angel Fund is here to help. As a group of entrepreneurs, founders and recovering founders, our investment team looks at people first and ideas second. We are looking to fund founders who share our vision of changing the world through software. Not every company is right for us, just as not every investment group is right for you, but we are working to make the process of accessing capital easier and more efficient.
We believe in getting capital to the best founders quickly, efficiently and repeatedly so you can get back to the business of building your business. We invest without regard to geographic region, but focus particularly intensely on connecting promising southern startups with the capital needed to accelerate their companies. For too long, the region has seen growth stunned in the software space due to difficulty in accessing capital seed funding. The Athens Angel Fund is working hard daily to make sure you have the resources to compete.
